RAF Glider Challenge

The P7 class had lots of fun taking part in the STEM - RAF Glider challenge on Thursday 3rd December. They got to work as a team to design gliders, thinking about the structure of them and materials needing to be used. They had to think about the different forces that would be acting on these to help their glider stay in the air longer and travel further.

We had online live support throughout the session and we got to share our pictures with the other schools taking part. All the resources were provided for the school free of charge. This was an amazing activity and thoroughly enjoyed by all (adults included)!
